Just about every isle in a grocery store contains a variety of products that are packaged with the words: “A good source of Omega-3″ boldly printed on the label. Food manufacturers have discovered that omega-3 sells product. Omega-3 is an essential body fat that is found in every cell in the human body, but the body can’t make enough omega-3 on its own, so our diet plays an important role in supplying enough of these essential fatty acids (EFA) to keep the body functioning properly.

Diet and Hayfever

There are a number of things you can eat and drink, or avoid, which may help curb your hayfever symptoms, including itchy eyes, itchy face and skin, sneezing, runny nose, nasal congestion and lethargy.
Things to avoid are foods which stimulate the production of mucus. This includes dairy products, refined food, processed food, alcohol and caffine. Try an alternative to dairy like goats milk, goats cheese, sheep milk, rice milk oat or soya milk. Or even better, try a herbal tea with added benefits.

The number of people with obesity in the UK and US is soaring. More and more men and women are turning to slimming aids to help shed those unwanted pounds. Slimming aids like Alli are producing excellent results and the reported weight loss with this pills is staggering. But, are these slimming pills as safe as they claim?

Alli can boost your weight loss by up to 50%. It claims that for every 2lbs you lose, you’ll lose another 1lb with the slimming aid. The pill is intended for users with obesity or a BMI of 28 and over. But, because Alli is the first aid of its kind available without prescription, there been worrying reports that much slimmer men and women have been able to use the pill.

What is a Life Coach… and Do I Need One?

Whenever people ask me what I do as a Life Coach, my first response is to reply, ‘I help people unleash their potential’. More often than not I am met with intrigue, very inquiring looks or the response that, ‘Wow that’s a big job…tell me more’. Then ensues interrogative conversation about how I go about doing that. And, rightly so we would all like to be the best that we can be. People often think that a Life Coach is a posh/new name for a counsellor and comparisons to counsellors or advisors are made. Indeed this is far from the reality of coaching, as we deal with helping clients to set clear and realistic and achievable goals. Coaching does not delve into the client’s past, but works with a formula for dealing with what is going on in the present in order to have a desired future outcome.
